Let’s face it, juicing is really all about health. You know, it’s gotta be one of the best things we can do for ourselves. There’s the boost to our health, energy levels and vitality. Then on top of that, you know that the juice we make ourselves tastes A-1. There’s no doubt about it, we can make some healthy and not so nice juices. Would you fancy drinking a cabbage and spinach juice? No way! The best juicer for you is one that’s gonna juice up the fruits and veggies you wanna drink.
Juices come in all sorts of different colors and flavors. It’s really just a question of knowing what you like and maybe taking a chance every now and then. Don’t like tomatoes? No one says you have to drink tomato juice. Just stick with the things you like. One of the best “tricks” is to use fruits and vegetables that are in-season.

We don’t have to be doctors to know that fresh fruits and veggies are good for us. It’s the sort of thing that we all know on an intuitive level. There’s a pretty cool calculator where you type in your age and how active you wanna be. It then says how many fruits and veggies you should be eating.
What’s so good about juicing anyway? Do you know what we get from fruits and veggies? The funny thing is that they’re mostly made up of water! This is something our bodies need for sure. Then we’ve got all the vitamins and minerals too and sugars for energy.
I gotta say that it’s better if we can eat our fruits and veggies. This way we get all their fiber too. This is good for digestion and helps the sugar to be released more slowly. BUT the beauty of juicing is this – Drinking the juice of 10 oranges = EASY. Eating 10 oranges = HARDER. So when we drink juice, we get more nutrition.
The ideal scenario would be to eat lots of fruits and veggies, so we’re getting enough fiber. Then drinking juices so we get tons of nutrition too!
