Not open?

15 06 09 - 18:37 What kind of business isn't open for business on a monday? The bridal gown business, I guess. Went to return the tuxes and the darn place wasn't open. Seesh! My mother lives right down the street, so she graciously agreed to take them back tomorrow. Thanks mom. They might have mentioned that. You know, when I was paying through the nose and the lady said "You have until Tuesday to return them" how hard would it have been to end that sentence with "... because we're closed on Monday."? Oh, what's that? Not hard at all? Well, you'd think that, wouldn't you.

Otherwise, another crap day. Went back to the hotel I changed a power supply/fan on friday, she was getting a fan error again. I guess the fan connector isn't putting out the juice to actually spin the fan anymore. If you sort of whack it with your finger it'll sorta spin, but only halfheartedly. Sigh. There's an adapter I can use to change a 4 pin power supply connector to a 3 pin motherboard fan connector, but I don't have one. So I have to order it. Sigh. Then I went over to another business that called me this morning "oh it's an emergency, blah blah blah" and the guy had "just left" and of course hadn't told anyone what his issue was so I could look at it in the event he wasn't there to show me himself. AARG.

And you know the worst thing? Having an expressway that's been under construction the last three or so years, and is currently down from 4 lanes to 1 in some spots, meaning traffic at 3:30 is like rush hour everywhere else and who do I pass on the side of the road? The road crew, that's supposed to be working, 7-8 guys, just standing around talking. WORK DARN YOU! This one lane crap is really starting to annoy me.

Made a cool little memento thingy out of the pins Sean gave me to wear at the wedding. We all had star trek rank pins on our collars, like you see when they wear formal attire in Next Generation and an insignia pin too. (By "we all", I mean Sean had 4, captain's rank, I was a commander with 3, Neil and Ray had 3 but one wasn't filled in, making them lieutenant commanders. What, you're just figuring out now I have geeky friends?) It's not done, I need a good picture to stick in the corner, it's kind of empty otherwise, so I'll have to wait to get the wedding photos from him to finish it. I'll post a picture when it's done.

Cost of frame: $7.00
Cost of sparkly black felt: 0.35ยข
Making some pins into a display piece: priceless

Will there be more crap do deal with tomorrow? {shakes 8 ball} *Signs point to yes*
