It's quiet. Yeah, a little too quiet

21 06 09 - 20:10 There's Raph. Yeah, a little too Raph. And if you get that joke, you're either a child of the 80s or as geeky as myself. Perhaps both. Anyway, nothing too remarkable going on around here the last couple of days. No bizarre issues, no idiotic behaviors to get riled up about, just life. Weird. Set up a couple of new systems on Friday, one a laptop right here at the house. Love it when they come to me. No Macs this time, just PCs. Dummies. Enjoy Vista ya morons.

I got the two comics for this week done ahead of schedule (colored and shaded), won the expansion to Fallout 3, started playing Chrono Trigger on the DS and got back into where I left off in Mass Effect (second playthough, stopped when I started playing Oblivion, then got Halo Wars and Fallout 3. Seesh) . Father's day was of course today so I went to see him and give him his comic. Of course, I made it into a card, but that was the inside. I've made my own cards for years now, and frankly coming up with new ideas is kind of hard. I was trying to decide on what to do and started thinking about a comic that just said crazy off the wall things that made perfect sense to the characters in the comic. Then the "10,000 years ago!" thing popped into my head and zombies are big now and there it was!

No Sean's this week, Mizzy (our blushing bride, you know) had a friend over, so no gaming this week. Though I did see her playing Left 4 Dead Saturday night, alone, on the next hardest difficulty up from normal. Good luck Mizzy, I tried it once and didn't get far. Not sure if it would be easier or tougher with real people playing. (As it's supposed to be a four player game, but the AI characters know exactly where the enemies are even if they are not visible because of trees or rocks or whatever. But I got slaughtered anyway by myself.) The plan is to do more Demon Gate High next week though. We can tackle the Judy Problem, maybe get me back in my body (long story) and get the Holy Chosen back in school! Yay!

Darn it, I just realized I forgot to bring the pot to my mother's! Not that kind of pot! I was going to get a plant so I had a pot with dirt ready to go. I forgot to pick it up. Humph.

They're going away this week, I get their dog and to housesit their eighteen cats. Okay, they don't have eighteen cats, that was an exaggeration. They do have one noisy bird though. Anyone have any interest in a noisy bird? So, put the times down on my calendar that I'm going to go feed the cats in the morning so I don't forget.

Happy summer, by the way. New moon tomorrow, so don't bother looking for it. Full day planned tomorrow, back to reality. Thanks for my one day off!
