Wasted morning

08 07 09 - 21:11 Two half an hour appointments. Ugh My first one had moved, and just needed his wireless done. For the record, the only Apple product I truly despise is the Apple Airport. Always have. Every other router on earth you just open the website contained "inside the box" and plug away at the settings. With the Airport product you have to launch this silly little tool that gets you into it. And the settings are always messing up on those things. Luckily very few people have them. Maybe because they suck? Could be anything.

Then over to a person having "email problems". No, you are having Juno problems. Yes, Juno still exists, I was surprised too. She's using the Juno interface because she "doesn't like" the webmail interface. It crashed when she opened it up, and of course she had no disk for it. I went to the Juno webpage, but could only download their legacy product, Juno 5.0. Built in the 98 era. But she said she was used to that too so it was fine. Honestly, you people who can't learn anything new- what's wrong with you? Try something different once in awhile, will you?

And back home again. Got the comic I penciled yesterday all colored up. Then worked on the Story Helper. Got the remove button all worked out, so you can now add and remove pages to your heart's content. Next is getting the content of the page to display. One thing at a time.

Then dinner and over to my 6:00. On the way over I saw big street signs. I knew I had, I just didn't recall where. They are really nice street signs. If I had my tiny camera I would have taken pictures, but I don't yet. (See below). Let's make all street signs like that. They're like 3x bigger then the "standard" ones. Me likes. No serious problems, but he did have a bunch of weird, never heard of before antivirus stuff. Seemed legit, but I gave him my stuff and cleaned him out a bit anyway. His computer, I mean, not him. Got home by 7:15, made two calls (I got three calls today, but one was six minutes after the other with a "oh, I got it to work, never mind" sort of deal. Whatever.) The other one was from yesterday, I couldn't leave a message because his voicemail box was full. Full? Google can give you gigabytes of space for email, how can a voicemail box get "full"? Weird.

More of the same old tomorrow. At least my tiny camera is finally scheduled to arrive. I mean, okay, it came from Canada which I didn't realize, but it entered california on 7/1. Took it 9 days to get here, I guess on the back of a snail. I got a call from Mr. "I didn't realize I had told my firewall to block all access to the internet" and of course he lives about 40 minutes away. He wasn't at home, but I'm hoping when I call him tomorrow at 12:00ish that I can tell him where to look and see if he's done the same thing again and save myself the trip.

Will I play Hoard with Sean and Mizzy tonight? Will the plans for Demon Gate High on friday night be dashed by my Sister's Birthday Party at Grandma's? (Happy Birthday!) Only the future can say for sure.
