Have I mentioned recently

12 08 09 - 23:12 that I hate windows?

I would hate for you to forget.

Anyway, my first really angered me. There was something that kept whacking Spybot and redirecting google searches. And I just couldn't find it. Booted into Linux, poked around, nothing. I'm pretty good at finding where stuff is hiding, but this one was a doozy. Bizarre. So I told him it was time for a reload. And a Mac. He said he actually called the Mac Shack when I brought it back, he was thinking about it. Microsoft, you're your own worst enemy, you know that?

It was about lunch time, so I told him I would take it home and reload it there, save me an hour or more sitting around waiting for XP to load itself. I mean, the CD loads a bunch of files onto the hard drive. Reboots. Then loads a bunch more files. Then asks me a bunch of dumb questions, then more loading. More dumb questions. Then reboots. Just do all the file loading at the beginning, all the questions at the end, and everyone's more happy.

Stopped at a garage sale and got a cute little battery powered vacuum cleaner I can keep in the car and pull out when people don't have a vacuum with a hose and their system is filthy on the inside. Doesn't happen often, but for 7 bucks, can't go wrong.

Stopped off to see Bert again, finally decided on the machines he's going to get.

Came home, started the reload, ate lunch. Finished the reload. Checked my websites for the day.

Just finished by the time I had to leave again. Another cleanout, a system with only 256 RAM from the factory. Ugg. I had just the chip for him though, but only one. Glad it worked. Answered a bunch of questions, "duh, what's a browser?" Fine, whatever. Got home, dinner, yes, more oblivion. So hard to raise levels now, but I'm at 22, only three more to go! Got a cool shield though, for rescuing a bunch of souls. Reflect spell 30%. With my crown of 17%, there's almost a 50% chance they'll get hit by their own spell. HA-HA! I think I would rather it reflect half their spell, 100% of the time, but you can't have everything.

No comic, I only have the morning scheduled for tomorrow, gonna comic up a storm.

Current Mood: Hoping I get to do a World Hopping, Darkbolt themed HDL game this Friday, NEIL.
