Twelve calls to make tonight

27 09 09 - 19:03 Looks like a busy week.

Friday worked out pretty well, except at the end. Went over to get that VPN installed, and what does she get? An error during the install process. Now this thing lists vista compatibility, so what's with this crazy not-want-to-intstall bit? Otherwise the first three went fine. Got over to my parent's, fed everybody, did the two local to that, went back home, let the dog out, made lunch, ate on the way over to York, got their unit set up and upgraded them from IE6 to IE8.

Later we did the arena fights. I knew that would take forever, but in about five hours we only just got to me, the third fight. Seesh. But I struck my deal with Ewen and basically said "promise to help me get out of the demon world and I'll throw this fight" so he promised and I threw the fight. We might run through it later, there are "holding back" rules we never use but would like to test.

Saturday I went over to install the RAM after feeding everyone, and came home. Called one or two people I knew I could just take care of over the phone. I forget now how it started, but somehow doing some little thing in my garage turned into "cleaning the garage". Found some nasty stuff in there, man. Two garbage bags later and it's all neatened up and ready for winter. (which I am still dreading, by the way, haha)

Then over to RIT where we advanced the story a tiny bit, as usual. We tracked down the guy who left the candles there, he was still right there in town, thank goodness. Roughed him up a little and got the story, that a wizard did it. Yeah, we knew that. But our centaur used his power to look into the past "through" an object and got what the guy looked like. It wasn't the guy here in town, but there is another wizard in the area. Past the place the vampires live. So we head out there and rescue this guy staked to a tree who is a half vampire. He's looking for his father. So with him we head in, but apparently the Lady Vampire doesn't want to receive guests right now, so we get attacked. Naturally we win, and head deeper into the forest.

Today it rained, so we didn't get to do the "extended sunday morning walk" around "inspiration point" or whatever it's called. Too bad. But, took care of mom's animals again and came back. Finished the detail work and wrote up all the comics I had yet to do. That took most of the day. Did a little cleaning, my parents came back to get the dog early because of the rain, no one was there at the sunday place they go, so home they came.

And I see it's exactly seven now, so I get to go make my phone calls, which is a delightful activity. This activity is very delightful.

Failure to comply with this process will result in a cataclysmic system crash, killing everyone within the Matrix.

Current Mood: Dreading my phone calls
